Trained in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy & Pediatric Physiotherapy
BKin, MScPT
Jenny Roy graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2017 after completing her undergrad in Kinesiology at Acadia University. Following graduation, she worked at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, before relocating to Ottawa to pursue her dream of being a pediatric physiotherapist. She has worked in pediatrics for the last 3 years, both in a school-based and private practice setting. She is thrilled to be back in her home province of Nova Scotia!
Jenny’s passion for pediatric physiotherapy started at a young age with her first job as a dance teacher. It was heightened during her volunteer experience with the Acadia S.M.I.L.E. program in her role as a student director. Jenny is passionate about helping people of all ages and all ability levels gain confidence and independence.
Jenny loves to make her physio sessions fun! She uses a play-based approach and tailors her sessions to the interests of her clients, incorporating their physio goals into games and activities. Jenny has taken numerous pediatric post-grad courses, and is now licensed to provide pelvic floor physiotherapy for children and teens!
Jenny has completed post-graduate training to become a pelvic health physiotherapist and is now treating women at The Pelvic Health Clinic.
In her spare time, Jenny loves to be at the beach or on her SUP board. She also loves cooking, baking, and traveling.
